Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Yannick Turpault showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 3rd minute of the match. 4 minutes had been played when some careless play by Belisca Xana Sport Club ®'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Felix Montenegro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Belisca Xana Sport Club ®'s Yannick Turpault did a great save. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yannick Turpault showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 13th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yannick Turpault saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evelio Blasi, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. The corner ended in Evelio Blasi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Ferraz in the 24th minute of play. Camilo Gisbert hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yannick Turpault was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. A collision led to Belisca Xana Sport Club ® getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Celsinho Esteves hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rusi Moskal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Yannick Turpault took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Sebastián Puig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Belisca Xana Sport Club ®'s zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yannick Turpault came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rusi Moskal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Yannick Turpault didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. After 68 played minutes Belisca Xana Sport Club ® got a freekick which was hit by Celsinho Esteves. Belisca Xana Sport Club ®'s Vito Veloso was substituted for Narciso Ferraz. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Yannick Turpault firmly grabbed it by the left post. Felix Montenegro made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 75thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Yannick Turpault would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Cristian Sancho hit a great ball. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yannick Turpault having to interfere. Belisca Xana Sport Club ®'s Yannick Turpault proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Belisca Xana Sport Club ® from getting a goal against them. Yannick Turpault made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 82nd minute. Vito Veloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Belisca Xana Sport Club ® the free kick. In the 93rd minute, Daniel Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Jackson Nascimento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belisca Xana Sport Club ®'s supporters rose to their feet, but Jackson Nascimento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jackson Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Jackson Nascimento took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1.
