In the 3rd minute, one of Quebrachitos FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Quebrachitos FC. With 14 minutes on the clock, Ignacio Rico commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 14th match minute, Quebrachitos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignacio Rico to maneuver through the defense. Quebrachitos FC's Gualterio Loco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute of play. Gualterio Loco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After a rather tough play, Quebrachitos FC's Godfredo Artal got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 21st minute of the match Daniel Zorita sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gualterio Loco skillfully saved the ball. When Ecuador's Felix Montenegro in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Gualterio Loco came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 38 minutes into the match, Felix Montenegro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gualterio Loco. Quebrachitos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felix Montenegro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Gualterio Loco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gualterio Loco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 45 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gualterio Loco. Quebrachitos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tadeo Mannie made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Quebrachitos FC defense, Felix Montenegro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gualterio Loco. The Quebrachitos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gualterio Loco should have stopped the shot. Gualterio Loco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Quebrachitos FC's Gualterio Loco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Quebrachitos FC from getting a goal against them. In the 66th minute, Daniel Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gualterio Loco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 68th minute of play. Gualterio Loco stood somewhat misplaced when Felix Montenegro came free in front of goal and shot 0-7 to the left of him in the 95 minute. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Quebrachitos FC.
