Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 魏政笑, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 石宇岩 in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by 石宇岩 in the 46th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 石宇岩 made a kick off. 顾国兴 came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa. But to his dismay, Eliseo Noboa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Benito Sanz was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and 魏政笑 capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. 魏政笑 really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. 赵磊西 kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in 【INTER】≮蓝黑≯ 摸金校尉's zone, Eliseo Noboa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 顾国兴 came out of the goal and Eliseo Noboa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when 【INTER】≮蓝黑≯ 摸金校尉 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. 赵磊西 didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 78 minutes, Aaron Alcocer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the 【INTER】≮蓝黑≯ 摸金校尉 players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Aaron Alcocer hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when 石宇岩 got free with Benito Sanz in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, 魏政笑 took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Benito Sanz to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to 【INTER】≮蓝黑≯ 摸金校尉 getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. 邓洋梁 hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the match, 【INTER】≮蓝黑≯ 摸金校尉's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Noboa came free, but 顾国兴 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lautaro Puig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. 顾国兴 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
