Thanks to some nice moves Lautaro Mancebo could shoot a difficult shot in the 18th minute, which Richard Mühsam however easily saved by the left post. Mexico's Joel Gaona was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Richard Mühsam in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomasz Presch in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Karsten Zentner came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Germania München's goalkeeper Richard Mühsam, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kasper Rechkemmer in the 28th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 30 minutes, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Gaona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Richard Mühsam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Zorita in the 35th minute of the match. Richard Mühsam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 39th minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Richard Mühsam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Kasper Rechkemmer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC Germania München made a substitution. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kasper Rechkemmer made a kick off. When Raitis Porītis came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the FC Germania München fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raitis Porītis couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kasper Rechkemmer in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 71 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of FC Germania München's Richard Mühsam. Richard Mühsam was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With 73 minutes on the clock, Felix Luque commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Mexico:s Dante Lacasa showed great skill when he stopped Karsten Zentner:s penalty. 80 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Ludger Krug came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Richard Mühsam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. If Luca Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the game, FC Germania München's Silvester Overesch nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karsten Zentner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahmet Orhan İlbaşı made a great header on FC Germania München's corner, it was just that Mexico's Dante Lacasa managed to reach the ball for a save. Ahmet Orhan İlbaşı's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Dante Lacasa - 3-2 was put on the score board in the 93rd minute. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla got a free kick in the 96th minute. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Kasper Rechkemmer tried to sneak it across the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Germania München players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mexico.
