Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Luís Fábio Rocha started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Los Hijos de Doña Beija's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Higinio Aguilera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 5 played minutes Los Hijos de Doña Beija got a freekick which was hit by Andrea Pirlo. After a defensive mix-up in Los Hijos de Doña Beija's zone, Julian Murillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Higinio Aguilera came out of the goal and Julian Murillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Higinio Aguilera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Abelardo Domenec recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eliseo Mina was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 22nd minute. Peru's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Peru's Alonso Berganza quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Venancio Sandaili, made in the 30th minute of the game. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Hijos de Doña Beija's goalkeeper Higinio Aguilera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luís Fábio Rocha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Argi Casta in the 38th minute. The corner led to Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Feliciano Haritzeder getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Fábio Rocha in the 46th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Indiana Jones was substituted for Luís Fábio Rocha. With an all-out effort, Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Rolando Noboa threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Indiana Jones, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Indiana Jones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luz Tejedor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Higinio Aguilera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. In the 66th minute, Venancio Sandaili hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Indiana Jones in the 72nd minute of play. Higinio Aguilera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milagros Fraga in the 73rd minute of play. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Feliciano Haritzeder in the 74th minute. Milagros Fraga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute of the game Milagros Fraga made a throw-in which Luz Tejedor played forward. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Peru made a substitution. Venancio Sandaili kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Indiana Jones. In the 88th minute, Rafael Gallo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Higinio Aguilera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Aaron Cresitobalo made a throw-in in the 94th minute of the game. Eliseo Mina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Higinio Aguilera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 97 minutes into the game, Peru's Rafael Gallo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Higinio Aguilera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. There was no doubt that Peru were the better team. Peru's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
