Pedro Manzanares was a little too slow when Christoffer Blomqvist got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 1-1. After a rather tough play, MILLONARIOS FC's Kepa Barajo got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute, Christoffer Blomqvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. A collision led to MILLONARIOS FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Theo Hernández hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christoffer Blomqvist made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Axel Montenegro put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Angelo Prior. After 55 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Indiano. Joshua Garrido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Abram Sarmiento kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Angelo Prior. That made the score 2-3 in the 60 minute of play. Angelo Prior made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Montenegro in the 64th minute. Christoffer Blomqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christoffer Blomqvist in the 75th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Axel Montenegro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Angelo Prior, 2-4. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. MILLONARIOS FC's Roberto Quicedo was substituted for Svenn Matzke. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christoffer Blomqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. With a little luck, MILLONARIOS FC's Angelo Prior got control of the ball when Abram Secada tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, MILLONARIOS FC's Baladi Ribalta got a free kick in the 88th minute. 92 minutes into the match, MILLONARIOS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Mastache came free, but Angelo Prior reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Colombia's Angelo Prior threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ignacio Mastache, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The Colombia supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Colombia would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
