An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 20th minute of play forced TUNGSTA's goalkeeper Alexander Tehas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Sancho in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexander Tehas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 26th minute, Eugenio Romillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 32 minutes into the match, TUNGSTA's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Alexander Tehas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexander Tehas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Hernan Portocarrero hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Alexander Tehas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alexander Tehas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 52nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. TUNGSTA's Alexander Tehas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save TUNGSTA from getting a goal against them. TUNGSTA's Eugenio Romillo got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. TUNGSTA made a substitution. Jacobo Ruilopez replaced Eugenio Romillo. Alexander Tehas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 68th minute of the match. In the 73rd match minute, TUNGSTA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Montaño to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Tehas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexander Tehas didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 86th minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Tehas having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xefe Pedraja during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 92 played minutes TUNGSTA got a freekick which was hit by Xefe Pedraja. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexander Tehas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 95th minute, Mario Tuñon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than TUNGSTA.
