Barnaba Wydrych made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Facundo Cadaval sent off a good shot on target. After 5 minutes Polan Września's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. When Mexico's Luca Zorita in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Polan Września's goalie prevented a goal. Ksawery Sawicki scored 1-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Polan Września booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lorenzo Cazalla during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Lorenzo Cazalla hit a great ball. Polan Września's Herbert Arbaszewski couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 20th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Mexico. Barnaba Wydrych showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 23rd minute of the match. 23 minutes into the game, Mexico's Joel Gaona nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Barnaba Wydrych made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Polan Września's Barnaba Wydrych proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Polan Września from getting a goal against them. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 28th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Iwo Moczkiewicz notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Mexico booed when Polan Września was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Komanski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barnaba Wydrych having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla got a free kick in the 45th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ksawery Sawicki in the 46th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rafal Kaczanka was the one to do the kick off. Barnaba Wydrych showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 54th minute of the match. Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barnaba Wydrych saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Polan Września's Barnaba Wydrych played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 61st minute of play. In the 61st minute, Joel Gaona made a precise shot to the right of Barnaba Wydrych. Polan Września's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. In the 64th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barnaba Wydrych saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barnaba Wydrych took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Luque kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Felix Luque might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Barnaba Wydrych. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felix Luque ran back to his position shaking his head. 81 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Iwo Moczkiewicz came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86thth minute of the game Alberto Tafalla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Polan Września's Barnaba Wydrych was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Barnaba Wydrych tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Polan Września made a substitution. Zenon Niziolek replaced Iwo Moczkiewicz. When Alberto Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tafalla couldn't finish the play. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Mexico were the better team. Mexico's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
