Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Tiago Gabriel Mendes started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Gabriel Mendes came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Guilherme Galvão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 5 minutes into the game, Alan Moruga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Brasil F.C. the free kick. In the 6th minute, Luís Guilherme Galvão left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Brasil F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Tiago Gabriel Mendes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. 14 minutes into the game, Lautaro Puig was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Brasil F.C. the free kick. In the 14th minute, Lautaro Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute Tiago Gabriel Mendes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Abel Carballo got a free kick in the 18th minute. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Brasil F.C.'s Tiago Gabriel Mendes. But to his dismay, Tiago Gabriel Mendes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 22nd minute, Abel Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiago Gabriel Mendes in the 23rd minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Tiago Gabriel Mendes sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Puig got free with Nilton Marinho in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 29 played minutes Real Brasil F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Fellipe do Nascimento. Lautaro Puig scored 1-4 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nilton Marinho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Luís Guilherme Galvão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Luís Guilherme Galvão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Tiago Gabriel Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Real Brasil F.C. booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Noboa didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Tiago Gabriel Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Efrain Moruga hit a great ball. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Guilherme Galvão in the 43rd minute of play. Eliseo Noboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Axel Tasis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Aaron Alcocer got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiago Gabriel Mendes in the 55th minute of the match. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Alexander Carballo hit a great ball. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Luís Guilherme Galvão tried to sneak it across the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Gabriel Mendes came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nilton Marinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Puig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Lautaro Puig came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Costa Rica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Puig couldn't finish the play. If Abel Rosado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Tiago Gabriel Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lautaro Puig struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Nilton Marinho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. After 86 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alan Moruga. Nilton Marinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Tasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luís Guilherme Galvão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over Real Brasil F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Costa Rica throughout the match.
