Ospin Campello was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Clayton Pedron showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 8 minute of play. Ospin Campello came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by C o n f i a n ç a - SE's Clayton Pedron. But to his dismay, Clayton Pedron quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Ospin Campello made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jeremias Maia in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute Feijo Calderon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diguinho Carioca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 4-0 became the score in the 22nd minute when Clayton Pedron elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Ospin Campello made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Clayton Pedron sent off a good shot on target. C o n f i a n ç a - SE were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Soucar FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Charles Capixaba took the corner. The corner led C o n f i a n ç a - SE's Genílson da Silva to fire away a dangerous shot which Ospin Campello despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ospin Campello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clayton Pedron, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Soucar FC's zone, Clayton Pedron stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ospin Campello came out of the goal and Clayton Pedron tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute, C o n f i a n ç a - SE's Clayton Pedron dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Feijo Calderon to strike the kick off in the second half. Ospin Campello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charles Capixaba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Charles Capixaba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ospin Campello prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ospin Campello stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Clayton Pedron's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Soucar FC's Ospin Campello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clayton Pedron in the 61st minute of play. Ospin Campello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clayton Pedron in the 63rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Clayton Pedron's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ospin Campello was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. 68 minutes into the match, Soucar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Charles Capixaba came free, but Ospin Campello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Charles Capixaba's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ospin Campello was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. 69 minutes into the match, Soucar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Clayton Pedron came free, but Ospin Campello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute, Arthur Barbosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clayton Pedron in the 73rd minute of play forced Soucar FC's goalkeeper Ospin Campello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Soucar FC defense, Clayton Pedron kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ospin Campello. The Soucar FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ospin Campello should have stopped the shot. Soucar FC's Ospin Campello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Maia in the 81st minute of play. Ospin Campello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Maia, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After 87 minutes of play, C o n f i a n ç a - SE's Clayton Clayton made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ospin Campello was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 91st minute Jeremias Maia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ospin Campello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Clayton Pedron came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the C o n f i a n ç a - SE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clayton Pedron couldn't finish the play. C o n f i a n ç a - SE's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
