In the 6th minute Lars Olofsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diguinho Carioca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diguinho Carioca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Max Mohammad in the 8th minute of play. The audience cheered when Charles Capixaba's long shot passed Otto Hermansson's right side. It was 1-1, 18 minutes into the match. C o n f i a n ç a - SE's Diguinho Carioca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max Mohammad in the 21st minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Lars Olofsson could shoot a difficult shot in the 31st minute, which Diguinho Carioca however easily saved by the left post. Otto Hermansson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeremias Maia's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Jeremias Maia put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Otto Hermansson. In the 38th match minute, C o n f i a n ç a - SE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Monteiro to maneuver through the defense. C o n f i a n ç a - SE's Diguinho Carioca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max Mohammad in the 43rd minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Max Mohammad dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Diguinho Carioca, 3-2. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Clayton Pedron in the 52nd minute of play forced Newcastle United FC's goalkeeper Otto Hermansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Charles Capixaba's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Otto Hermansson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 56th match minute, C o n f i a n ç a - SE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clayton Pedron to maneuver through the defense. Newcastle United FC made a substitution. Florian Liermann replaced Marko Gustavsson. After a rather tough play, C o n f i a n ç a - SE's Clayton Pedron got a free kick in the 57th minute. Diguinho Carioca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tord Åström in the 71st minute of the match. Jeremias Maia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79thth minute of the game Lars Olofsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C o n f i a n ç a - SE's Diguinho Carioca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arthur Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 86thth minute of the game Lars Olofsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C o n f i a n ç a - SE's Diguinho Carioca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Newcastle United FC's Lars Olofsson got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 90 minutes into the match, Lars Olofsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diguinho Carioca. C o n f i a n ç a - SE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lars Olofsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. Diguinho Carioca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florian Liermann in the 94th minute of the match. C o n f i a n ç a - SE's Diguinho Carioca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Olofsson in the 96th minute of play. Newcastle United FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
