An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Lordi in the 4th minute of play forced Casa Real de Savóia F.C.'s goalkeeper William Gaúcho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. William Gaúcho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Lordi in the 5th minute of play. After 5 played minutes Santa Margarita got a freekick which was hit by Andréas Hasselqvist. With a little luck, Casa Real de Savóia F.C.'s William Gaúcho got control of the ball when Andreas Landgren tried to sneak it across the goal line. 10 minutes in the game, Andreas Landgren dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 11th minute, Robert Smith hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dênis Vinhas kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Enzo Peruxu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but William Gaúcho made a huge save. William Gaúcho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Witomir Pisarczyk in the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Richárd Lovász shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pontus Nordström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Santa Margarita's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Smith came free, but Pontus Nordström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santa Margarita's Pontus Nordström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Poli Puyol in the 18th minute of play. After 18 played minutes Santa Margarita got a freekick which was hit by David Celio. Pontus Nordström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Almir Meira in the 19th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Richárd Lovász's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pontus Nordström was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. 24 minutes into the match, Casa Real de Savóia F.C.'s goalkeeper William Gaúcho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Witomir Pisarczyk. In the 29th match minute, Santa Margarita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andreas Landgren to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute Almir Meira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pontus Nordström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Witomir Pisarczyk might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over William Gaúcho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Witomir Pisarczyk ran back to his position shaking his head. Pontus Nordström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Poli Puyol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Santa Margarita's Klaus Mohammadi was substituted for Gerardo Lordi. 59 minutes into the game, Mauro Icardi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. William Gaúcho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pontus Nordström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Almir Meira, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 68 minutes into the game, Mauro Icardi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. William Gaúcho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pontus Nordström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Poli Puyol in the 72nd minute of the match. Santa Margarita's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Paelemans ran over to the corner to take the kick. Tomas Paelemans made a great header on Casa Real de Savóia F.C.'s corner, it was just that Santa Margarita's Pontus Nordström managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 84th minute, Mauro Icardi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. William Gaúcho was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 87th match minute, Santa Margarita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klaus Mohammadi to maneuver through the defense. Pontus Nordström made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Richárd Lovász sent off a good shot on target. Richárd Lovász scored 3-2 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pontus Nordström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Santa Margarita fans cheered their team off the field, for while Casa Real de Savóia F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
