After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind DON RAMON 72's goalkeeper Jairo Primeiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Salmuera CP were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after DON RAMON 72's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Torcuato Herrero took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fermin Laurendi in the 63rd minute of play forced Salmuera CP's goalkeeper Ruperto Maria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Silvano Harkaitz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ruperto Maria. That made the score 1-1 in the 65 minute of play. If Costin Duca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salmuera CP's Valdo Corrêa was substituted for Ali Gopala Pillai. Jairo Primeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fan Xing Zhou in the 79th minute of the match. With 81 minutes on the clock, Wes Higgins commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 81 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Salmuera CP! Hồ Kyhn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hồ Kyhn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Salmuera CP were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
