Franco Sampler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wang Cheng Xiang in the 3rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian de Lima in the 6th minute of play forced Alijilán returns's goalkeeper Victor Erauso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victor Erauso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victoriano Escobar in the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Jacobo Azubeli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alijilán returns's Victor Erauso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian de Lima in the 11th minute of play. Mercado Paulista F.C's Franco Sampler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wang Cheng Xiang in the 13th minute of play. Victor Erauso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Duarte in the 20th minute of play. In the 20th minute Victoriano Escobar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Erauso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Mercado Paulista F.C's Franco Sampler got control of the ball when Co Bayo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 26 minutes, Cristian de Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mercado Paulista F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian de Lima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian de Lima took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victor Erauso. Victor Erauso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A collision led to Alijilán returns getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Jacobo Azubeli hit a great ball. Jacobo Azubeli made in the 37th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Juan Gaute however managed to control. The throw-in from Jacobo Azubeli in the 39th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Mercado Paulista F.C's Sad Boy. Victor Erauso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sad Boy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 41 minutes Alijilán returns's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Atilano Acosta who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Mercado Paulista F.C's Atilano Acosta to fire away a dangerous shot which Victor Erauso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Victoriano Escobar kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 46th minute Mercado Paulista F.C were awarded a corner. Atilano Acosta went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Atilano Acosta got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Victor Erauso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.

Mercado Paulista F.C's Kent Lindberg was substituted for Cristian de Lima. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Lindberg in the 54th minute of play forced Alijilán returns's goalkeeper Victor Erauso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Wang Cheng Xiang's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Franco Sampler was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. When Alijilán returns's Wang Cheng Xiang in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Atilano Acosta was slow to take the kick. During this time Mercado Paulista F.C's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Mercado Paulista F.C's Carlos Duarte to fire away a dangerous shot which Victor Erauso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 73 played minutes Alijilán returns got a freekick which was hit by Jacobo Azubeli. Alijilán returns's Sly Noble was substituted for Kieth Van Damme. Victor Erauso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kent Lindberg in the 76th minute. In the 78th minute, Kent Lindberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victor Erauso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After having played for 80 minutes, Aytuğ Aral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alijilán returns's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aytuğ Aral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Mercado Paulista F.C's Kent Lindberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victor Erauso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Kent Lindberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Victor Erauso. That made the score 0-3 in the 85 minute of play. Franco Sampler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adilson Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Carlos Duarte took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victor Erauso. Victor Erauso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. The Alijilán returns manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Mercado Paulista F.C to win.
