After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Costin Duca made a kick off. Ruperto Maria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Francisco Freire in the 52nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, All Boys 22's Walter Heggert got a free kick in the 53rd minute. With an all-out effort, Salmuera CP's Ezequiel Fresco threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Costin Duca, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The crowd rose to their feet as Hồ Kyhn kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ezequiel Fresco. That made the score 3-3 in the 91 minute of play.
