The CLUB ATLETICO DONO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aquiles Soter should have stopped the shot. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind CLUB ATLETICO DONO's goalkeeper Aquiles Soter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 59thth minute of the game Kent Lindberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CLUB ATLETICO DONO's Aquiles Soter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Kent Lindberg came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Mercado Paulista F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kent Lindberg couldn't finish the play. Victoriano Escobar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquiles Soter having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Mercado Paulista F.C fully deserved thier win.
