Esteban Carvallo's late challenge caught a Rockets's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Esteban Carvallo helped the player get up and apologised. Esteban Carvallo hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After 4 played minutes, Rockets's Tales de Carvalho shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rockets reached it. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Esteban Carvallo got a free kick in the 6th minute. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toninho Terra in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute Ronaldo Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Júlio Pires in the 12th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Luca Espinar. After 15 played minutes Rockets got a freekick which was hit by Júlio Pires. 17 minutes into the match, Sebastian Villa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benjamin Mazza. Rockets's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastian Villa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Honduras's attentive Luca Espinar managed to snatch the ball when Júlio Pires made a throw-in in the 20th minute of the game. In the 22nd minute, Edmundo Espiga made a precise shot to the right of Benjamin Mazza. Rockets's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The throw-in from Júlio Pires in the 25th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Esteban Carvallo. After 27 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Milagros Cabal. Ronaldo Gol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Honduras's attentive Sebastian Villa managed to snatch the ball when Júlio Pires made a throw-in in the 33rd minute of the game. A collision led to Rockets getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Júlio Pires hit a great ball. Christian Sancho kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. The supporters of Rockets booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Villa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benjamin Mazza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Villa in the 40th minute of the match. Sebastian Villa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes in the game Júlio Pires did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Gilvan Chaves. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Espiga made a kick off. Gilvan Chaves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Honduras's Luca Espinar quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Júlio Pires, made in the 54th minute of the game. Júlio Pires got a throw-in 58 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Gilvan Chaves. Rockets's Benjamin Mazza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Rockets from getting a goal against them. Honduras's Christian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sebastian Villa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Mazza having to interfere. Christian Sancho hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilvan Chaves in the 72nd minute of play. Benjamin Mazza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Tafalla in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 84th minute Moises Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Mazza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastian Villa scored 0-4 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benjamin Mazza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 91 minutes into the match, Rockets's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Villa came free, but Benjamin Mazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Róbson Messias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomás Ferraz during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Milagros Cabal hit a great ball. When the match was over Honduras could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Rockets throughout the match.
