Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. Tomasz Piwko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 3rd minute of play. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Stelian Joldea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tomasz Piwko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 13th minute of play forced KS Piastów Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Tomasz Piwko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by KS Piastów Sosnowiec's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. In the 15th minute, Stelian Joldea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KS Piastów Sosnowiec fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 18th minute, Stelian Joldea reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julio Vera. The goal made the score 2-0. Stelian Joldea scored 3-0 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariusz Zgonina in the 31st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Zorita to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomasz Piwko was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 42nd minute of the match, Stelian Joldea got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julio Vera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 44th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomasz Piwko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reşat Rasif, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Tomasz Gorski made a great header on KS Piastów Sosnowiec's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stelian Joldea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Marcin Kondysar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Ecuador booed when KS Piastów Sosnowiec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stelian Joldea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mariusz Zgonina took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Tomasz Piwko made a huge save. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after KS Piastów Sosnowiec's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. In the 74th minute, Camilo Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tomasz Piwko. Cristian Sancho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-2. KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Cyryl Penkalski was substituted for Stelian Joldea. KS Piastów Sosnowiec made a substitution. Boruc Magdziarz replaced Hieronim Winszman. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Camilo Gisbert got a free kick in the 86th minute. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Mariusz Zgonina. But to his dismay, Mariusz Zgonina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-2. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cyryl Penkalski went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-2 was the resulting score. The KS Piastów Sosnowiec players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
