Mădălin Manu hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Hugon Pilitowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a free kick in the 44th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Hugon Pilitowski came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute Mădălin Manu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 胡天升 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 85th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind 胡天升. 胡天升 yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from A.J. 张飞 in the 92nd minute of play. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Alfonso Sciarretta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. The 贵阳观山湖联队 players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
