Svetaslav Yanchyks short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Lautaro Navarro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Svetaslav Yanchyk struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Libertad FC. After taking down the ball on Libertad FC's corner Florentino Argina fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lautaro Navarro quite easily take care of the ball. The audience was convinced that Sebastian Villa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Godofredo Tanio was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Godofredo Tanio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edmundo Espiga went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 62nd minute Albino Urbes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Navarro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florentino Argina's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. In the 65th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmundo Espiga to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute of the match Morten Hovland sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lautaro Navarro skillfully saved the ball. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albino Urbes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. Godofredo Tanio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 77th minute. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albino Urbes in the 78th minute of play. Emanuel Ocampo hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Svetaslav Yanchyk in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lautaro Navarro saved Honduras from getting behind. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Esteban Carvallo hit a great ball. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Svetaslav Yanchyk in the 90th minute of play. Albino Urbes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Honorio Telo during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Libertad FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Honorio Telo hit a great ball. After having played for 96 minutes, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Espiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Honduras's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
