In the 18thth minute of the game Aureliusz Dziuma who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Jonathan Ferrant was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 33 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. Cumhur Onsal kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Aureliusz Dziuma had several of the Venezuela's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 39 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Jonathan Ferrant as he didn't even see the shot coming. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliusz Dziuma in the 42nd minute of play. A collision led to Ante Todo Mucha Calma getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Nereo Estefan hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aureliusz Dziuma made a kick off. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliusz Dziuma, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 53rd minute of the match Ante Todo Mucha Calma got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Donato Acuña ran over to the corner to take the kick. Aureliusz Dziuma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Ante Todo Mucha Calma booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Gizon in the 73rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
