Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Reynaldo Inge kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 11th minute of the match Abraham Alguacil sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Xie Chao Cheng skillfully saved the ball. After 15 minutes of play, Club A. Chipa y Tereré's Jaroslav Nechvátal made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Cotilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! 17 minutes into the match, Jaroslav Nechvátal notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Panama's Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Tomas Berganza fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Panama's protests and gave Tomas Berganza a yellow card for diving instead. After 27 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Berganza. After 28 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Ros. Bernardo Cabral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 30 minutes of play, Club A. Chipa y Tereré's Bernardo Cabral made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Cotilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaroslav Nechvátal, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Jaroslav Nechvátal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcos Cotilla having to make a save. In the 37th minute Jaroslav Nechvátal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Cabral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xie Chao Cheng made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Isidoro Sarmiento sent off a good shot on target. Jose Carita made in the 41st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Club A. Chipa y Tereré's Ciriaco Macias. After 42 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Alex Cambeiro. Xie Chao Cheng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abraham Alguacil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After having played for 55 minutes, Bernardo Cabral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club A. Chipa y Tereré's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardo Cabral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Club A. Chipa y Tereré's Jaroslav Nechvátal got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Panama defense, Jaroslav Nechvátal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Panama's Jose Carita got a free kick in the 66th minute. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaroslav Nechvátal in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th match minute, Club A. Chipa y Tereré was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregorio Elixio to maneuver through the defense. Club A. Chipa y Tereré made a substitution. Wen Si Yi replaced Bernardo Cabral. Club A. Chipa y Tereré's Carmelo Velasco was substituted for Israel Igon. A collision led to Club A. Chipa y Tereré getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Gregorio Elixio hit a great ball. Club A. Chipa y Tereré's Xie Chao Cheng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Cambeiro in the 77th minute of play. Jaroslav Nechvátal took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Wen Si Yi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Cotilla having to interfere. Jaroslav Nechvátal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcos Cotilla having to make a save. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. Xie Chao Cheng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 88th minute of play. After some careless play in the Club A. Chipa y Tereré defense, Tomas Berganza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xie Chao Cheng. The Club A. Chipa y Tereré fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xie Chao Cheng should have stopped the shot. Marcos Cotilla didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Club A. Chipa y Tereré's Jaroslav Nechvátal shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-6 in the ordered_time% minute. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Abraham Alguacil hit a great ball. Marcos Cotilla was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wen Si Yi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-7 in the 95 minute of play. The Club A. Chipa y Tereré players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
