Chipa y Tereré's Jaroslav Nechvátal made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eliseo Noboa's late challenge caught a Club A. Chipa y Tereré's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eliseo Noboa helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a free kick in the 8th minute. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaroslav Nechvátal in the 10th minute of the match. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaroslav Nechvátal in the 11th minute of play. In the 14thth minute of the game Jaroslav Nechvátal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaroslav Nechvátal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xie Chao Cheng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Noboa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jaroslav Nechvátal's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaroslav Nechvátal in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. 27 minutes into the match, Club A. Chipa y Tereré's Jaroslav Nechvátal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Club A. Chipa y Tereré booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Carballo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jaroslav Nechvátal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Jaroslav Nechvátal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club A. Chipa y Tereré's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaroslav Nechvátal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jaroslav Nechvátal scored 0-3 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 48th minute, Jaroslav Nechvátal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club A. Chipa y Tereré fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. The Costa Rica players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club A. Chipa y Tereré were winning 0-4.

After having played for 69 minutes, Jaroslav Nechvátal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club A. Chipa y Tereré's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaroslav Nechvátal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72nd minute, Jaroslav Nechvátal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Wen Si Yi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benito Sanz. That made the score 0-6 in the 75 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jaroslav Nechvátal got free with Benito Sanz in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benito Sanz was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Jaroslav Nechvátal capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jaroslav Nechvátal really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. Wen Si Yi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 89 minutes, Alan Moruga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Club A. Chipa y Tereré players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Alan Moruga hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the game, Jaroslav Nechvátal recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benito Sanz. Jaroslav Nechvátal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. In the 94th minute, Club A. Chipa y Tereré's Jaroslav Nechvátal dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-9.
