Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loco De la Maza having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loco De la Maza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 52 minutes into the game, Mexico's Luca Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Loco De la Maza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Loco De la Maza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 65 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Gianluca Vialli came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Falckner FC were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after Mexico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marco Bilbo took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Baldovino in the 75th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Falckner FC's Loco De la Maza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 77th minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gianluca Vialli, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 90th minute, Joel Gaona left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Loco De la Maza made a huge save. Luca Rouco hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded Mexico left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Falckner FC.
