Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Radu Podgoreanu in the 75th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Danone CC's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaltino Couto came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Danone CC made a substitution. Fausto Senna replaced Enéas Carneiro. Camilo Gaos's late challenge caught a Danone CC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Gaos helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the match, Danone CC's Gernando Proença broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. Jonathan Ferrant acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 86th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gernando Proença. Danone CC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gernando Proença in the 87th minute. The corner ended in Gernando Proença almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. Cauã Toledo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Cauã Toledo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 95th minute. Danone CC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
