The supporters of Rapsodas Red Devils FC booed when Palestra do Interior was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute, Jorginho Ferreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute of the match Marcus Olsson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Allan Varela showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Leonardo Colmenares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Allan Varela made a huge save. Leonardo Colmenares's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Allan Varela firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ferenc Tököli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romário Barbosa in the 20th minute of the match. Ferenc Tököli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Godoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Palestra do Interior's goalkeeper Allan Varela had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorrin Briones. Ferenc Tököli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romário Barbosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulo Godoi was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Jorrin Briones made a precise shot to the right of Allan Varela. Palestra do Interior's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Jorrin Briones fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allan Varela having to interfere. Rapsodas Red Devils FC made a substitution. Herminio Miera replaced Eskil Julin. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Cristiano Salah was substituted for Jorrin Briones. Allan Varela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Salah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Ferenc Tököli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Godoi in the 61st minute of play. Allan Varela came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Jerrold Taranco. But to his dismay, Jerrold Taranco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 83 minutes into the match, Rapsodas Red Devils FC's goalkeeper Ferenc Tököli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 吴洲坚. With a little luck, Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Ferenc Tököli got control of the ball when 吴洲坚 tried to sneak it across the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Palestra do Interior's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Colmenares came free, but Allan Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rdth minute of the game Cristiano Salah who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palestra do Interior's Allan Varela was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Rapsodas Red Devils FC had won after a very even match.
