Trpimir Čaplar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Villa in the 20th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Sentot Likumahua could shoot a difficult shot in the 22nd minute, which Lautaro Navarro however easily saved by the left post. Sentot Likumahua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marian Gorunescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Lautaro Navarro made a huge save. Sentot Likumahua recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind -BZF- Chimia Buzau's goalkeeper Trpimir Čaplar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Honduras's defense didn't have a chance, in the 44th minute, when Marian Gorunescu scored to the left of an out of position Lautaro Navarro, making the score, 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marian Gorunescu was the one to do the kick off. A throw-in in the 51st minute of the game was made by Valentín Carvallo with Moises Tafalla as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Edmundo Espiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Trpimir Čaplar made a huge save. -BZF- Chimia Buzau were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after Honduras's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Panait Piţurcă took the corner. The throw-in from Horia Pavel in the 65th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Valentín Carvallo. The audience was convinced that Marian Gorunescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lautaro Navarro was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Honduras's Valentín Carvallo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Pompiliu Ghișerel, made in the 70th minute of the game. Sentot Likumahua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. Edmundo Espiga's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Trpimir Čaplar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 87 minutes into the match, -BZF- Chimia Buzau's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Sancho came free, but Trpimir Čaplar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 88 minutes -BZF- Chimia Buzau's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edmundo Espiga who took care of the corner kick. Sebastian Villa struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Trpimir Čaplar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras.
