Joseph Reeder replaced Vern Pierre. The supporters of Australia booed when USA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lincoln Hand didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, USA's Matthew Benjamin got control of the ball when Corey Alonso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lincoln Hand in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bryant Reina prevented the ball from getting in the gole. USA's Matthew Benjamin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bishop Fazey in the 94th minute of play. Australia's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
