In the 12thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but POCASPULGAS's Rafal Leszczynski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Rafal Leszczynski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Rigoberto Mina was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 23 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 24th minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andoni Viso in the 24th minute of the match. Ruben Savier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Charly Alcaraz in the 31st minute. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Charly Alcaraz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 31 minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Ruben Savier came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Charly Alcaraz in the 37th minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruben Savier in the 43rd minute of play. POCASPULGAS's supporters rose to their feet, but Charly Alcaraz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Charly Alcaraz to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Charly Alcaraz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Charly Alcaraz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Xie Lin Kuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafal Leszczynski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 57th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After 67 minutes of play, POCASPULGAS's Ruben Savier made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 78 minutes, Andoni Viso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. POCASPULGAS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andoni Viso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 81 minutes of play, POCASPULGAS's Ruben Savier made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! 86 minutes into the game, Joshua Secada recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rafal Leszczynski. Joshua Secada showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. In the 91st minute, POCASPULGAS's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Patricio Costa fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. POCASPULGAS fully deserved thier win.
