The supporters of Maravilla booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 10 minutes of play, Maravilla's Cruz Credo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cruz Credo in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. In the 15th minute, Cruz Credo made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Maravilla's Roberto Mouzo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Salvador Gisbert, made in the 19th minute of the game. In the 21st minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cruz Credo went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cruz Credo in the 33rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Cruz Credo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Cruz Credos short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Maravilla's Cruz Credo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Maravilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Mouzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alex Chicote made in the 62nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Patricio Costa however managed to control. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Cruz Credo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Cruz Credo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cruz Credo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cruz Credo in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 86th minute, Cruz Credo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Cruz Credo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Cruz Credo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Maravilla fully deserved thier win.
