With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when 蒋益朋 tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Epifanio Bernabel, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 14 minutes into the match, ☆冰谷☆〓新势力〓风浪越大，鱼越贵's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Tasis came free, but 洪广荣 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 14 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Ferrant. 15 minutes in the game, Epifanio Bernabel fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Benito Sanz having to interfere. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Hugo Ferrant got a free kick in the 34th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Epifanio Bernabel couldn't finish the play. Abel Carballo kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 蒋益朋 in the 48th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 蒋益朋 made a kick off. After 54 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Ferrant. In the 58thth minute of the game 蒋益朋 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 3-0 when 蒋益朋 sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. Epifanio Bernabel hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute, 蒋益朋 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After 67 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Puig. In the 70th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Ferrant to maneuver through the defense. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Epifanio Bernabel's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. In the 76th match minute, ☆冰谷☆〓新势力〓风浪越大，鱼越贵 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 王震适 to maneuver through the defense. 蒋益朋's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Juan Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Aaron Alcocer got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 蒋益朋, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
