Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marian Gorunescu started the match with the kick off. Alexander Carballo charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexander Carballo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Alexander Carballo got a free kick in the 9th minute. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Marian Gorunescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 12th minute, Sentot Likumahua made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Marian Gorunescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. If Lautaro Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Efrain Moruga hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The supporters of -BZF- Chimia Buzau booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Carballo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 29 minutes of play, -BZF- Chimia Buzau's Marian Gorunescu made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! -BZF- Chimia Buzau's Trpimir Čaplar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Tasis in the 32nd minute of play. Trpimir Čaplar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Tasis in the 32nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Sentot Likumahua could shoot a difficult shot in the 39th minute, which Benito Sanz however easily saved by the left post. 41 minutes into the game, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Trpimir Čaplar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 48 minutes into the match, -BZF- Chimia Buzau's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Tasis came free, but Trpimir Čaplar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Axel Tasis made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Eliseo Noboa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Feroiu kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Costa Rica's Axel Tasis couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 59th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for -BZF- Chimia Buzau. Marian Gorunescu kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. -BZF- Chimia Buzau's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Eliseo Noboa scored to the left of an out of position Trpimir Čaplar, making the score, 2-2. A collision led to -BZF- Chimia Buzau getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Marian Gorunescu hit a great ball. In the 78th minute, Sentot Likumahua left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The -BZF- Chimia Buzau fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Dorel Dumitrana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. 83 minutes into the game, Marian Gorunescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marian Gorunescu in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dorel Dumitrana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. In the 95th minute Marian Gorunescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. -BZF- Chimia Buzau fully deserved thier win.
