Matheus Munhoz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 3rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 8th minute of play forced Lindner F.C's goalkeeper Matheus Munhoz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Lindner F.C defense, Mariano Lacasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matheus Munhoz. The Lindner F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matheus Munhoz should have stopped the shot. When Mariano Lacasa came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Chile fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Lacasa couldn't finish the play. Matheus Munhoz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mariano Lacasa's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Matheus Munhoz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 20th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Jeremias Salles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Pliego was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Jeremias Salles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Pliego was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Jeremias Salles sped through Chile's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matheus Munhoz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Mariano Lacasa scored 1-2 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Matheus Munhoz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 38 minutes into the match, Lindner F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Matheus Munhoz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 39 minutes Lindner F.C's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mariano Lacasa who took care of the corner kick. If Harald Keane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mariano Lacasa was the one to do the kick off. Mariano Lacasa in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Matheus Munhoz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience was convinced that Harald Keane's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Pliego was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Mariano Lacasa took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Matheus Munhoz. Matheus Munhoz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Matheus Munhoz made a huge save. In the 72nd minute, Dónald Trump left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lindner F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-4. 76 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Matheus Munhoz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Salles in the 78th minute of play. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chile's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gelu Roșeanu was slow to take the kick. During this time Lindner F.C's players had a chance to rest. Lindner F.C's Gelu Roșeanu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Thiago Pliego in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 84th minute, Chile's Mariano Lacasa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Matheus Munhoz. Matheus Munhoz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-5. In the 89th minute, Jeremias Salles made a precise shot to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-5. In the 92nd minute, Mariano Lacasa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matheus Munhoz was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-6. Alan Tamayo charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alan Tamayo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 96 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Chile! The Chile supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Chile would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
