After 13 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bennvar Björnfot in the 23rd minute of play. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Venezuela! The referee gave TALLERES a penalty, 26 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Alvaro Lop, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. 1-0. If Maciej Karwowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 32nd minute, Bennvar Björnfot left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TALLERES fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Guillermo Mariano hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Lop in the 41st minute of the match. Silverio Medardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iker Medina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, TALLERES's Pablo Urki got a free kick in the 58th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bennvar Björnfot in the 62nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Maciej Karwowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Maciej Karwowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 69thth minute of the game Silverio Medardo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maciej Karwowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 76 minutes into the game, TALLERES's Bennvar Björnfot nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. 83 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Silverio Medardo came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Iker Medina, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
