Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Silverio Medardo made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the match, Agustín Saelices notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of TALLERES's Iker Medina. Iker Medina was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Iker Medina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Iker Medina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 8th minute of the match. When Erdal Bakkal fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TALLERES's protests and gave Erdal Bakkal a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 11th minute of the game. One of TALLERES:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ecuador:s goal. Daniel Zorita shot the penalty kick right outside the post. 15 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of TALLERES's Iker Medina. Iker Medina was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Maciej Karwowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iker Medina came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. TALLERES's Iker Medina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 24th minute of play. If Bennvar Björnfot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felix Nuxila hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Silverio Medardo sent off a good shot on target. In the 36th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Medina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Maciej Karwowski sent off a good shot on target. Iker Medina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silverio Medardo in the 46th minute. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alvaro Lop was slow to take the kick. During this time TALLERES's players had a chance to rest. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silverio Medardo in the 55th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silverio Medardo in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 61st minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Ecuador's Luis Andino to fire away a dangerous shot which Iker Medina despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 64th minute of play forced TALLERES's goalkeeper Iker Medina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silverio Medardo in the 66th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Silverio Medardo made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Iker Medina made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. In the 80th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. At last the ball reached Felix Montenegro at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of TALLERES. 1-4. In the 84th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iker Medina was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. TALLERES's Iker Medina proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save TALLERES from getting a goal against them. After 87 minutes TALLERES's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ecuador eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
