Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fagondo Vasquez took the kick off in the first half of the match. Luis Andino struck a weak shot in the 2nd minute. Luís Guilherme Marques didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Luís Guilherme Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fagondo Vasquez in the 10th minute of the match. Luís Guilherme Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 14th minute of play. Luis Andino took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís Guilherme Marques. Luís Guilherme Marques dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 25 minutes into the match, BRASIL.Sp's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Luís Guilherme Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fagondo Vasquez in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. After 26 minutes, Fagondo Vasquez made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of BRASIL.Sp booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Fagondo Vasquez 35 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. A collision led to BRASIL.Sp getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Elói Amaral hit a great ball. In the 41stth minute of the game Fagondo Vasquez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 42 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 44th minute of play forced BRASIL.Sp's goalkeeper Luís Guilherme Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, Daniel Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusébio Barros in the 51st minute of play. Eusébio Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eusébio Barros hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. BRASIL.Sp's Luís Guilherme Marques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 65th minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fagondo Vasquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luís Guilherme Marques having to make a save. Luís Guilherme Marques made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 71st minute. BRASIL.Sp made a substitution. Nilson Perez replaced Fagondo Vasquez. When BRASIL.Sp's Eusébio Barros in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. In the 84th minute Eusébio Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Eusébio Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
