Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Redbourn AFC's Victor Chan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Jonathan Soon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hidayat Peng in the 7th minute of the match. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Redbourn AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shafiq Chien-Kwan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Tomas Illescas made a precise shot to the right of Afiz Teo. Redbourn AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 26th minute, Hidayat Peng fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 28th minute of the match Patricio Costa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Afiz Teo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Hidayat Peng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute Hidayat Peng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victor Chan took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victor Chan's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Redbourn AFC's Afiz Teo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 51st minute of play. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Didi Teo went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Didi Teo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Didi Teo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Hidayat Peng kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. In the 66th minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Redbourn AFC's Hidayat Peng got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 70th minute, Victor Ching hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Afiz Teo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Afiz Teo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 75th minute of play. In the 78th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes into the game, Victor Chan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Afiz Teo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Jonathan Soon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tomas Illescas in the 90thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Afiz Teo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Afiz Teo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Camilo Gaos got his second yellow card in the match during the 95th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victor Chan in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Redbourn AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
