Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) 5 minutes into the match, Pink Floyd's goal looked a bit too open when Moises Fernandino came free, but Fernando Gartxot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernando Gartxot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Fernandino, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Fernandino in the 8th minute of play forced Pink Floyd's goalkeeper Fernando Gartxot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristobal Lizer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. With a little luck, El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita got control of the ball when Rafael Lamberto tried to sneak it across the goal line. El Salvador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Fernando Vela scored to the left of an out of position Ricardo Zorita, making the score, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Pink Floyd's zone, Moises Fernandino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Gartxot came out of the goal and Moises Fernandino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rafael Lamberto's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ricardo Zorita firmly grabbed it by the left post. Cristobal Lizer struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Ricardo Zorita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pink Floyd. Mateo Leguizamo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 50th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesus Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Lamberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moises Fernandino got free with Fernando Gartxot in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 61st minute, El Salvador's Abram Luque dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marco Tamayo during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Marco Tamayo got a free kick in the 65th minute. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Lamberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 71 minutes of play, Pink Floyd's Rafael Lamberto made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Zorita was left in no man's land by his defense there! Abram Luque recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abram Luque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th match minute, Pink Floyd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvaro Innocenzio to maneuver through the defense. El Salvador's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
