Peder Lefland didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. 14 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Peder Lefland made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 19 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Insigne, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dé Matorin during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dé Matorin kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Bladi Soto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. When Emanuel Mattin fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PALMEIRAS FC's protests and gave Emanuel Mattin a yellow card for diving instead. Emanuel Mattin hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Peder Lefland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Rigoberto Mina hit a great ball. Wiliam Goiano didn't quite understand what happened when in the 62 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Insigne, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by PALMEIRAS FC's Ricardinho Paranaense. But to his dismay, Ricardinho Paranaense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. PALMEIRAS FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Tomas Illescas scored to the left of an out of position Peder Lefland, making the score, 4-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Insigne in the 76th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, PALMEIRAS FC's Peder Lefland got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Peder Lefland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A throw-in in the 87th minute of the game was made by Dé Matorin with João Vítor Nunes as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
