Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. When Eliseo Mina came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseo Mina couldn't finish the play. 9 minutes into the match, Atunes De Margarita FC⚽️'s goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Efraim Leizaur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 10th minute. After taking down the ball on Peru's corner Luz Tejedor fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Efraim Leizaur quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jozef Kloots in the 12th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julian Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Efraim Leizaur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Porfirio Tariego made a throw-in in the 15th minute of the game. Efraim Leizaur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milagros Fraga, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Peru were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Atunes De Margarita FC⚽️'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. Efraim Leizaur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jozef Kloots in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Jozef Kloots came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Efraim Leizaur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute of the match Peru got a corner. Atunes De Margarita FC⚽️'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eliseo Mina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Efraim Leizaur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Efraim Leizaur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Efraim Leizaur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Atunes De Margarita FC⚽️'s Efraim Leizaur. Efraim Leizaur was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Efraim Leizaur didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julian Murillo went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Cordairo Aveo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 41st minute, Cordairo Aveo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rolando Noboa. The goal made the score 1-2. Maciej Jaworski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. Atunes De Margarita FC⚽️ made a substitution. Bálint Simkó replaced Edgard Breckenfeld. Atunes De Margarita FC⚽️'s Macario Antezana was substituted for Cordairo Aveo. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by Peru's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gery Hidayat was slow to take the kick. During this time Atunes De Margarita FC⚽️'s players had a chance to rest. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julian Murillo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Efraim Leizaur was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maciej Jaworski in the 62nd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atunes De Margarita FC⚽️ made a substitution. Marco Crouch replaced Maciej Jaworski. Robert Arenberg made in the 73rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. If Milagros Fraga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efraim Leizaur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. The crowd rose to their feet as Rafael Gallo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Efraim Leizaur. That made the score 1-4 in the 90 minute of play. Peru's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
