Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Ariel Jesus notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ariel Jesus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute, Inge Vazquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Lonnie Crow stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Lonnie Crow tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Ariel Jesus sent off a good shot on target. After 29 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. 31 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Lonnie Crow came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35thth minute of the game Ariel Jesus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sven Hake took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ariel Jesus in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ariel Jesus in the 44th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

LosPibardos F.C's Carles Clos was substituted for Inge Vazquez. The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Pau Crespo came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 53rd minute, Pau Crespo made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ariel Jesus in the 56th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ariel Jesus in the 57th minute of the match. Ariel Jesus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ariel Jesus in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Ariel Jesus sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lonnie Crow, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Galeno Chico in the 80th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pau Crespo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven Hake showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 88th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart.
