Adilson de Amorim came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Luz Tejedor. But to his dismay, Luz Tejedor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Adilson de Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luz Tejedor, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After 22 minutes Red Dragon FC - DMZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Luz Tejedor got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Adilson de Amorim quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 24 minutes into the match, Eliseo Mina notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Red Dragon FC - DMZ's Adilson de Amorim. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Red Dragon FC - DMZ booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Murillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Peru were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maicon Abreu to strike the kick off in the second half. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filip Felenak in the 52nd minute of the match. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. After a rather tough play, Red Dragon FC - DMZ's Arí Negri got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 94th minute, Peru's Antonio Tenorio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Adilson de Amorim. Adilson de Amorim yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. The Red Dragon FC - DMZ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Peru were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
