Narciso Frechoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Peru's Alonso Berganza managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alejo Larra in the 23 minute of the game. Julian Murillo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Narciso Frechoso came out and tried to block the shot, but Julian Murillo slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 24th minute. 27 minutes in the game Valentin Lico did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Alejo Larra. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Narciso Frechoso made a huge save. Narciso Frechoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Frechoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
