Marco Baker could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Marcos Ranolfo made a huge save. In the 90th minute, Kraig Fred made a precise shot to the right of Marco Day. USA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. With an all-out effort, USA's Marcos Ranolfo threw himself towards the right post 93 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Khalid Parry, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 93 played minutes Estudiantes de América got a freekick which was hit by Florencio Ermengol.
