An unexpectedly hard shot by Facundo Cadaval in the 5th minute of play forced Club A. Chipa y Tereré's goalkeeper Xie Chao Cheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xie Chao Cheng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Leoz in the 9th minute of the match. After 9 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Mancebo. Club A. Chipa y Tereré's Xie Chao Cheng proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Club A. Chipa y Tereré from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Alberto Tafalla took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Xie Chao Cheng to make any attempt to save it. If Mauro Loureiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaroslav Nechvátal, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 25 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Cabral came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafino Urbez in the 27th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafino Urbez in the 27th minute of play. In the 34th minute, Lautaro Mancebo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Cabral came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serafino Urbez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Xie Chao Cheng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Through an outstanding action, after 80 minutes, Dante Lacasa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 80th minute of the match, Jaroslav Nechvátal tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dante Lacasa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gregorio Elixio hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Club A. Chipa y Tereré's Serafino Urbez. But to his dismay, Serafino Urbez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 93 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Serafino Urbez. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
