Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 4 minutes, Armando Natalucci managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Glasgow Rangers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armando Natalucci was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Armando Natalucci's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Day read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Glasgow Rangers FC were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after USA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antonio Riccitelli took the corner. The corner ended in Antonio Riccitelli almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but USA's Marco Day did a great save. In the 13th minute, Monty Rogers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dave Clemente was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Glasgow Rangers FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cassius Byrne was slow to take the kick. During this time USA's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Cassius Byrne almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Glasgow Rangers FC's Dave Clemente did a great save. Dave Clemente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 24th minute of play. 24 minutes into the game, USA's Monty Rogers nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dave Clemente made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 30 played minutes Glasgow Rangers FC got a freekick which was hit by Ettore Placidi. If Monty Rogers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando Natalucci struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Marco Day didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glasgow Rangers FC. In the 39th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dave Clemente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute of the match USA got a corner. Glasgow Rangers FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cassius Byrne ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jacob May made a great header on USA's corner, it was just that Glasgow Rangers FC's Dave Clemente managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 41st match minute, Glasgow Rangers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ettore Placidi to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Armando Natalucci to make the kick off. In the 55th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dave Clemente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, USA's Dave Clemente threw himself towards the right post 77 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Monty Rogers, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 85 minutes into the match, Glasgow Rangers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sam Campbell came free, but Dave Clemente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Glasgow Rangers FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Nestor Lauaxeta hit a great ball. The long shot by Jenson Smith in the 88th minute really tested Dave Clemente's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Marco Baker received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dave Clemente came out and tried to block the shot, but Marco Baker slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 91st minute. USA's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
