Titãs FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panama the free kick. After 6 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Ros. Isidoro Sarmiento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Atanasije Vuković didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Berganza went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Isidoro Sarmiento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atanasije Vuković having to interfere. Atanasije Vuković made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Titãs FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Abraham Alguacil was slow to take the kick. During this time Panama's players had a chance to rest. Atanasije Vuković stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Berganza's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Abraham Alguacil charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abraham Alguacil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Abraham Alguacil hit a great ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 24 minutes into the game, when Ronaldo Carvalheira put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of Titãs FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Panama:s goal. After 27 minutes Titãs FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Abraham Alguacil who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 28th minute of play forced Titãs FC's goalkeeper Atanasije Vuković to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Titãs FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Abraham Alguacil was slow to take the kick. During this time Panama's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Panama's Abraham Alguacil to fire away a dangerous shot which Atanasije Vuković despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristiano Lattanzio. Titãs FC's Atanasije Vuković played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 32nd minute of play. Bonifacio Romano struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Marcos Cotilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Titãs FC. After having played for 41 minutes, Abraham Alguacil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abraham Alguacil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dylan Sarmiento hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Cristiano Lattanzio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Berganza to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Berganza in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Atanasije Vuković saved Titãs FC from getting behind. The throw-in from Matthew Garrido in the 58th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Titãs FC's Eusébio Teixeira. Atanasije Vuković had great luck who in the 64thth minute grab hold of the ball when Tomas Berganza from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After 65 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Dylan Sarmiento. When Panama's Tomas Berganza in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Titãs FC's goalie prevented a goal. Atanasije Vuković showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Cambeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. With an all-out effort, Panama's Atanasije Vuković threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tomas Berganza, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 77th minute of play forced Titãs FC's goalkeeper Atanasije Vuković to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Panama booed when Titãs FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Vilarinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atanasije Vuković made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Abraham Alguacil sent off a good shot on target. 88 minutes into the match, Titãs FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Atanasije Vuković reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atanasije Vuković saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abraham Alguacil kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. When Tomas Berganza fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Panama's protests and gave Tomas Berganza a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd minute, Tomas Berganza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atanasije Vuković showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 95th minute of the match. The Panama supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Panama would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
