Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alessandro Sacchi started the match with the kick off. After 8 played minutes Stratton FC got a freekick which was hit by Martyon Gronow. 9 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Stratton FC's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lawrance See came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 14th minute, Alessandro Sacchi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Lawrance See showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 17th minute of the match. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakub Zoufalý, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Lawrance See showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 29th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Stratton FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Lawrance See reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lawrance See showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After 34 minutes Stratton FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. After having played for 35 minutes, Alessandro Sacchi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stratton FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alessandro Sacchi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 40 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Juan Sebastián Puig. Stratton FC's Lawrance See played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 45th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Lawrance See made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Sacchi in the 54th minute of play. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lawrance See. Lawrance See dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The supporters of Stratton FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Stratton FC's goalkeeper Lawrance See had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. 80 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lawrance See made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Stratton FC's Lawrance See played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 85th minute of play. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Sancho's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lawrance See firmly grabbed it by the left post. Jakub Zoufalý fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Daniel Zorita scored 1-3 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lawrance See, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
