In the 23rd minute of the match Tomas Illescas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Niccolo Broich showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Niccolo Broich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 29th minute of play. Niccolo Broich didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Venezuela's Tomas Illescas shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Niccolo Broich stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Lino Atarratze managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cogollo Infinito fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Lino Atarratze was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cogollo Infinito fc the free kick. After recieving a nice pass, Cogollo Infinito fc's Rigoberto Lastur tried to score from far away in the 61st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 66 minutes into the game, Anastasio Madaleno cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Cogollo Infinito fc's Lino Atarratze. But to his dismay, Lino Atarratze quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Venezuela's Patricio Costa managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Filomeno Cucao in the 75 minute of the game. Lino Atarratze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. After 90 played minutes Cogollo Infinito fc got a freekick which was hit by Anastasio Madaleno. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anastasio Madaleno, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute.
