The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Montenegro got free with Ladislao Osasun in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 25 minutes into the game, Axel Montenegro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Ladislao Osasun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calixto Landoff in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute of the match Angua FC got a corner. Colombia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Augusto Sagrario ran over to the corner to take the kick. Pedro Berto made a great header on Angua FC's corner, it was just that Colombia's Pedro Manzanares managed to reach the ball for a save. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Sagrario in the 32nd minute of the match. A collision led to Angua FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Francisco Bidari hit a great ball. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ladislao Osasun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Ladislao Osasun was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Axel Montenegro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 38 minute of play. Ladislao Osasun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Angua FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Augusto Sagrario hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Axel Montenegro got a free kick in the 46th minute.

The wind increased when Calixto Landoff made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Augusto Sagrario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ladislao Osasun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the game, Axel Montenegro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Braulio Lopes got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Colombia supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Angua FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Angua FC.
